In the Waiting

HopeUC Secunderabad

Waiting isn’t wasted... it’s preparation. Seasons of delay aren’t punishment but God’s way of shaping us for the promise ahead. Just like Abraham, Joseph, and Moses, waiting builds the character needed to carry what God has promised.

When we focus on His faithfulness, serve while we wait, and hold firmly to His Word, we find strength and perspective. Waiting well positions us for breakthrough in God’s perfect timing.

If you’re frustrated in your waiting, remember: delays are not denials. Trust His process, your testimony is being written.

Speaker 1:

well, I've been asking the lord. I said, lord, what is it that you want me to share, you know, and one thing that was that stuck with my heart all through. In fact, I was telling my husband. I told him this is what I want to. He's like didn't you just do that? A couple of you know sermons back. I just could not go past this title. The title of my message is Waiting Well, waiting Well.

Speaker 1:

All of us are in the season of waiting. Right, all of us have promises from God that we are holding on to. Right, some of us are waiting for a job, some of us are waiting for a career change, some of us are waiting for a spouse, some of us are waiting for a baby. The list goes on and on and on. Right, we're all waiting, and some of us have promises from God that we're holding on to, and what happens is we don't see the manifestation of those promises immediately. Most of the time there are long seasons of waiting and this afternoon, I really believe, in this house there have been people that have been waiting for long seasons. And when you wait for times like that, you know what happens you are frustrated, right Amen to that. I can say that from my own life. I have promises from God that I'm holding on to, but it's been a long season, a season of frustration.

Speaker 1:

Waiting is not everybody's cup of tea. Right, we don't like to wait, anybody likes to wait, nobody likes to wait. I look at the traffic signals. I agree, our traffic signals are, you know, are really bad, but we can't wait those two or maximum two minutes. Even then we're honking. Right, I find myself so many times you know, I go multiple times to the microwave to heat my coffee and sometimes waiting 30 seconds. Oh my God, right, we all can agree that. Right, waiting, we don't like to wait, and we live in a generation that does not want to wait. Everything needs to happen right now. I mean, right, I have kids. They don't like to wait, and we live in a generation that does not want to wait. Everything needs to happen right now, amen. Right, I have kids. They don't like to wait Now, instant, and thankfully we have so many instant things that satisfy us. Right, waiting, waiting, Waiting can be frustrating, be frustrating. Waiting is never easy, but God loves those times of waiting to shape our life. Waiting, you know, sometimes it's like what is the purpose of waiting. Why should I wait? There is a purpose. You know. Waiting grows you. Waiting builds character. And how many of us know, without character we can't make it to heaven? Right, waiting grows us, Waiting builds us. Waiting is very, very, very important and some of us don't like waiting. That's the first thing. But God has taught me, through the long seasons of waiting, to build my life up.

Speaker 1:

I'll just throw a story in. Most of you know my story, but there are so many people that don't know my story. Me and my husband, we were in love. We met at church when we were 20 years old and by 21, we wanted to get married. Guess what? We were so excited. We went and told our parents I mean, I think Rufus' parents were absolutely fine with that. My father said no. He said no. And then my father is a tough nut. He's a police officer. He said no. But you know me, I'm exactly my father's daughter. You know as passionate as he is and as, in a lot of ways, rebellious as he is. I was like I want to get married. My dad said absolutely no, I will not give you to a pastor.

Speaker 1:

Rufus was training to be a pastor and it was a long season of waiting, long season, you know. It took us from the time we were in love till the time we got married. It was eight long years. We had decided that we will not do anything that will bring dishonor to our parents and by then we were already serving in a church like this with pastor comfort and worship. We were all in the same church, you know, and it was a long season of waiting and everybody told my husband hello, why did you get Mr Nelson's daughter? He, he will never give you, you know.

Speaker 1:

But what I'm trying to say is that in those long, that long season of waiting, I was praying. I said Lord, change my dad's heart. And guess what God did? He changed my heart so many times. In the period of waiting. We expect things will change, but God works in our hearts, in this, in my season of waiting, in our season of waiting, more than changing my father's heart, god changed my heart and God prepared me for the ministry that is ahead of me. And had I not had those eight years of waiting and trusting the Lord, I don't think I would have been ready for what was ahead. You know, I'm the only girl to my father and whatever I asked is what he gave. We never had pocket money in those days. Whatever I asked, I got what I said. We never had pocket money in those days. Whatever I asked, I got what I said. But in those eight years of journey, god taught me to rely on God, not my dad, because there was no way out, there was no way we could get mad, but we chose to hold on to the word of God. What I'm trying to get here is in those seasons of waiting, god molds your character. Character is birthed in those seasons of waiting.

Speaker 1:

You know it's frustrating. Nobody likes to wait, nobody wants to wait. We all want to give up and we in that generation. Anything is a little difficult. We don't want to go Studies difficult, we want to quit. You have some situation in your office. It's difficult, you want to quit. You have a situation in your office that's difficult, you want to quit. You have a situation in your marriage that's difficult. You want to quit. Right, it's so easy to quit. And we are living in a generation that absolutely wants to quit on anything, everything and anything. And this afternoon I come here not only to encourage you but to encourage myself not to give up on the things that you're holding on to. I don't know what you're holding on to today, but I believe God is telling each one of you do not give up, no matter how long you're waiting, don't give up on that. Hold on.

Speaker 1:

Long story short after eight years, god changed my father's heart. Hallelujah, thank heart. Hallelujah, thank you. Yes, you know, it was a miracle. You know, not only did we have a wonderful wedding they're so proud of my husband but when I look back and I see along those eight years, I feel, had I got married to Rufus when I was 21, believe me, it would have been a disaster. God worked in my life, god softened my life, god prepared me for the ministry, god prepared me for Rufus and likewise, I think, god prepared Rufus for the ministry and for our life together, you know so don't, don't, don't, don't give up on what God is calling you to the purpose of waiting.

Speaker 1:

Like I said, waiting grows you, waiting produces character. Waiting times, my friend, are never wasted. Can you say that with me? Waiting times are never wasted. Waiting prepares you for what God is calling you. And last, waiting builds character.

Speaker 1:

When we look at the Bible, the Bible is full of heroes that waited. It's surprising. When you look Abraham and Sarah, they waited for 25 long years. We'll go into a little deeper into that later. Joseph waited 14 years. Moses waited 40 years in the wilderness.

Speaker 1:

When we look at Noah, the Bible says Noah waited for 120 years. When God asked Noah to build an ark, what is an ark? Nobody knew what an ark was. Why did we need an ark? Because rain would come. There was no concept of rain in Noah's time no concept of rain. Just imagine how difficult it was to even believe. You know God, those times.

Speaker 1:

The Bible says Hannah waited several years before Samuel was born, and the scholars say several years could be anywhere between 10 and 20. A long time, you know. We said David waited 15 years before he was anointed by Samuel to become the king. We go on and on and on. It says Jesus, jesus also waited.

Speaker 1:

So waiting, my friends, is a part of our journey. It's a part of the process. So today, even as we, you know, talk about this, I want to talk about how we can wait. Well, because how you wait is very, very important. Right, in the process of waiting, you can get frustrated. In the process of waiting, you can lose the promise, what you are waiting for you can lose it. So today I want to talk about, I want to just basically, I want to encourage you from my own life how we can wait. Well, because how you wait is very, very important.

Speaker 1:

First one it says faith and patience. I'm reading from Hebrews, chapter 6, verse 12 we do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who, through faith and patience, inherited what God has promised. Come on without faith, it is impossible to please. Absolutely right, and I think through this waiting, god teaches us faith and patience. Let's look at the life of Abraham and Sarah for a minute.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm reading from the new King James version, and I want you to follow that with me Verses 7, 3 to 21. I have made you a father of many nations. In the presence of him, who believed God, who gives life to the dead, calls things which do not exist as though they did, who, contrary to hope, in hope, believed, so that he became the father of many nations According to what was spoken, so shall your descendants be. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead, since he was a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb old and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promises of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God and being fully convinced that he who promised is well able to perform it. Friends, are you convinced, are you persuaded, that he who has promised is able and faithful to do what he has called you to do? Look at Abraham and Sarah. The bible says he was how old 75? When he looked at his body. His body was as good as dead and he looked at the deadness of Sarah's womb Deadness of Sarah's womb.

Speaker 1:

Maybe today you're in a situation like that. You feel your situation is dead. Nothing good can come out of that. Nothing good can come out of that. But look at what the Bible says. Let me read this out. Bible says, let me read this out who gives life to the dead calls those things which do not exist as though they did. God calls things that are not as though they did.

Speaker 1:

And so today I want to encourage you. What are you believing God for? And while you are waiting, are you looking at the deadness of your circumstance? Are you looking at this and say, mayuri, this is not possible, absolutely not possible. Can I just encourage you? Don't look to your resources, look to the source In heaven. My friends, there is no dearth In heaven, there is no recession If there is no jobs here. You know. You know that God can create a job for you, right?

Speaker 1:

So many of us here are believing God for so many things and sometimes, when we look at our circumstances, when we look at the deadness of our situation, we are, we grow weary, we stop, we stop, we stop believing God. But look at what they did. Look at what Abraham and Sarah did. They did not waver through unbelief. So today, can I encourage you Don't waver through unbelief, refuse to be disappointed, refuse to be discouraged and say God, I'm not looking at my resources, I'm not looking at what I can do, I'm looking to heaven and you can call, you can bring the dead things back to life. Maybe there are dreams in your heart. You've been. God gave you a dream and now you feel that it's only all you see is it's dead. You know, know one thing God can resurrect that. Maybe you want to go to another country. God promised you that and right now, when you're looking at the news, door after door after door is being shut. But can I just encourage you to look to the author. He's the one who opens doors, amen. He's the one who he's continually opening doors for us. So don't give up, Don't look at the deadness of your womb.

Speaker 1:

You know, and I'm reminded, we had recently, just two weeks back, we had a sister that came from Africa and she was on our worship team for some time and she said, pastor, I want to be able to share my story. I said, yeah, please go ahead. She's like, ever since I was a child, I wanted to get married and have kids, you know, and we were in the US. She and her husband were in the US and they told them that they cannot have a baby. So she came to India with only one motive to death IVF done. So she was here last year and then she came to Shine and at Shine, somehow the whole theme was about speaking to dead bones, speaking about infertility. All our speakers were, you know, the theme was running.

Speaker 1:

And then this girl was sitting in the church and she said, pastor, when they were asking, when Pastor Lee was praying for dead bones, I put my hand on the womb and I spoke to my womb. I spoke life to my womb. Long story short. She said, my periods were delayed, like usual. Every time they get delayed. So I was not excited. I was sitting in the doctor's room outside for a checkup and I was reminded of pastor's words. And so she said I spoke life to my dead womb. And guess what? When she went to the doctor, the doctor said she was pregnant, even without IVF. Even without IVF, what am I trying to say?

Speaker 1:

Church, you can speak to the dead things in your life to come back to life. Whether it's a baby, whether it's a job situation, whether it's your health situation, no matter what it is, you can speak life. You can speak life because you're not looking at yourself, you're looking to God, you're looking to heaven, and in heaven there is absolutely no dirt, there's absolutely no lack. Talking about jobs, you're saying, my pastor, there are no jobs. Hello, if there is no jobs, god can create jobs for you. Yes, god can. He's the one who can create a job for you.

Speaker 1:

So don't lose heart, my friend, whatever you're believing, god, for, I want you to be fully persuaded that he who promised you whatever God promises again in your time of waiting, can you get. Can you hold on to the promise of God? Can you hold on. Can you read the Bible? If you find that is difficult, go on to Google. Get a promise from God concerning your situation, whether it's marriage, whether it's finances, whether it's your health or your healing. Can you hold on to the word of God? Can you hold on to the promises of God? Can you hold on to the promises of God? Hebrews 11 says and by faith, even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful, who had made the promise. God is faithful. My friends Trust his ability. So many times. We trust our own ability, right. We trust our own ability, our own finance what we can do.

Speaker 1:

But I think today you know, even through the worship service today God was just stirring in my heart. I feel the days of waiting are over. I feel there's been a shift. I feel you know. Even when Kirtana was sharing, she said eight months have passed by this year. I think that is so prophetic. We are in the ninth month. Usually, ninth month is when you deliver right People who've had babies and doctors in the house, and I believe even in the spiritual. I believe this is a season where you will deliver God's promises in your life. If you believe it, you receive it. In Jesus name, I believe there is a shift, even in terms of our congregation, even in terms of what we are believing for this congregation. I believe there's been a shift. In the name of Jesus. We will see what we have been praying for in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, there's going to be an acceleration. There's going to be an acceleration. In the name of Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus.

Speaker 1:

I remember we were in a season where I was believing God for a job. You know, this was way back soon after Samuel was born. There was a season where I was believing God for a job. This was way back soon after Samuel was born. There was a season that I said I want to be home, which I was my husband, graciously. We had agreed that I will take this time off so that I can be with the baby.

Speaker 1:

And after that, season was off and I wanted to get back to work, which was post three years, and I didn't want to immediately get onto a full-time job. I wanted to slowly transition into a part-time job. So I wrote down what I wanted and I asked my friends. I said, hey, I'm looking for a part-time job, some job where I can work from home. And most of my friends said Mayuri, are you kidding me? We're in a time of recession, people don't have jobs. What are you talking about? A part-time job? I was like, okay, that was very discouraging.

Speaker 1:

So I went back to God and Lord, I said Lord, your word says whatever I ask in the name of Jesus, that you will give it to me. And I want this job, I want to work three days a week, I want the salary. I put everything down and I started praying and I said said God, you are faithful. And guess what? Out of nowhere, in fact, my friends kept telling me even this gap of three years in your resume, you can forget it. You won't get a job. But I went to God. I said God, even if there are no jobs, you are the one who can create a job for me. And out of nowhere I got a job opening that I could work exactly three days in a week. Actually, whatever I prayed for, god gave me more than that, even in my salary.

Speaker 1:

It was such a beautiful time of transition and soon they asked me hey, can you come full time? They were so impressed with my work, but I was not to come full-time because I had a baby at home and I wanted to be with him. Long story short, my, my contract was coming to an end and they were very sad. They said um, past, not pastor. They said, mayuri, I'm so sorry your contract is coming to an end, but I prayed about it. I said, lord, I need that money, I need the money, I need to keep it going. And guess what, when the day I went to the office, they said Australia has created a new position for you, mayuri, that is who God is. There was no position, my contract was getting over, but God opened a position just for me.

Speaker 1:

So today, friends, I want to encourage you. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He hasn't changed. If God can do it for me, he can do it for you. And I want to encourage you. Make bold prayers. Let not the economy control your prayers. No, let heaven control your prayers. Make bold prayers. Make bold prayers because God is in the job of answering our prayers.

Speaker 1:

You know, don't be limited to what you see. Oh, I can't do that. Who told you you can't do that? Did God tell you that? Oh, I have BP, I have sugar. Hello, he's the one who paid the price for you on the cross of Calvary, right? Wow? Who told you that you cannot be healed? Cross of Calvary, right? Wow? Who told you that you cannot be healed? Whose words are you listening, church? Listen to the Word of God. Listen, hold on to the promises of God. Oh, I won't get mad. Who told you that you won't get married? Don't look around. Look up church. Look up.

Speaker 1:

When Abraham and Sarah, they were old woodland. When they looked down, there was death. That's all right. Church. Look up when Abraham and Sarah, they were old. When they looked down, there was death. That's all Right, deadness. But what did God ask them to do? He said, abraham, can you look to the stars? Can you look to the sand? That's how your descendants will be.

Speaker 1:

And today, church, I come here to encourage you. Don't look at your problems. Don't look at your limitations. Look at the ability of God. Look at the ability of God. He will do exceedingly much more than you can ask, think or imagine. Don't limit God with your unbelief. Don't waver with your unbelief. Take time with your unbelief. Take time. Take time to feed on the faithfulness of God.

Speaker 1:

My point two, number two feed on the faithfulness of God. Friends, his character is faithfulness. He says I am faithful to a thousand generational. He's a multi-generational God. He says he watches over his word to fulfill it in our lives. The Bible says even if we are faithless, he is faithful. So I want to stir you up today. He is a trustworthy God. Some, you know, we trust men, we trust people, and people will fail, period. People will fail. He is not a man that he should like. He is not a son of man that he should change his mind. If he said it, it's a done deal. If you believe church, all things are possible. And today I want to stir you up. I don't care what you are believing for. I want to stir you up and say God is faithful to keep his promises to you, to keep his promises to you.

Speaker 1:

Some time ago, you know, I went for a health checkup and then, just like that I normally do, and then I told my husband you don't have to come, I'll just go get this done with. And he said, okay, you, usually, usually we go together. But I said I'm just, it's in and out, I'm just gonna go. I went in. It took me five hours at the hospital. One thing led to the other, and said, mayuri, we need to do a biopsy. I said what they said we need to do a biopsy. I was like okay, he said. She said we'll do it now, and I was absolutely not prepared for that, you know. And then I was there and then I called Rufus. I said biopsy. He said what I said biopsy. He said can I come? I said no, but then my knees were knocking when I heard the word biopsy.

Speaker 1:

Then they took me in and I just laid down on the bed. There was no Rufus. There was no Rufus. There was nobody. Rufus, I think, was on the way. I was on the table and my I was like so nervous, and God said, mayuri, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. I could feel the tangible presence of God.

Speaker 1:

They did what they had to do and the report was due in 10 days. So you can imagine that stuff that is going through my mind. And maybe you are here like that and maybe you are in the season of waiting. You know what I did. I fed on the faithfulness of God, I took the promises of God and I said God, you said that you sent your word and healed this body, this body. There is no room for sickness in this body. You paid a price with your blood and because of that I am healed. I want to encourage you. Maybe you are here today and maybe there is a diagnosis in your life and you said, oh, I have to live with it. No, you don't have to live with it. You don't have to live with it. You just. All you have to do is just embrace the finished work of the cross. Thank god again, I have great friends, friends in church that are doctors, that have helped me in my journey, but then they don't have the final say. God has the final say.

Speaker 1:

10 days I meditated on the. What did I do in my waiting? I praise god for the, the healing. What did I do? I meditated on the word of God and guess what? Long story short, the report was clean Hallelujah. So today I want to encourage you, friends from my own life Don't take a no If people are saying find out from the word of God, stand on the word of God, feed on the faithfulness of God.

Speaker 1:

Even while you are waiting, friends, while you are waiting, how you wait is very, very important, because when the period is long, we lose focus. We grumble, we murmur. We look at each other's life, it's like it's happening in their life. It's not happening in my life. No, no, no, no, no. That's not what you do.

Speaker 1:

Cultivate an attitude of gratitude, even when you're waiting. There's so many things in your life that you can be grateful for the breath in your lungs. The fact that you're still alive today is a miracle. So many peace. There's so much of stuff that's happening all over the world. Right, people are dying by the thousands.

Speaker 1:

Back in the day, when we were growing up, old people died. Now there's nothing called old, right? People who are in twenties and thirties are having heart attacks, right? Aren't you glad that you're alive? Aren't you glad that you're alive? Aren't you glad? So many people say I don't have job. I don't. I mean, I'm believing God for a job, great, but don't you have a job now, and aren't you glad for that? Aren't you glad for that?

Speaker 1:

Cultivate an attitude of gratitude While you are waiting. Couple of things that you can do. You can say Mayuri, I'm waiting on God. You know, waiting is not being passive, it's not a passive thing. Okay, I'll wait on God. No, no, no, no.

Speaker 1:

While you are waiting, why don't you take time to serve While you are waiting for the job to come? Why don't you go to Pastor? Come for Pastor. Pastor, I'm believing for my job to come, but in the meantime, I have this time Can I come and serve? In the meantime, can I come and sow? Find out places where you can sow.

Speaker 1:

If you're believing for a financial breakthrough, go and sow into people's lives. If you're believing for a baby, I would say go to pastor worship. Can I serve in the Sunday school? Find out. Look for places where you can serve. Look for places where you can pray. You can sow, you know, and make sure that you are part of something. Surround yourself with people who can speak faith into your life. So many times, people have no hope right, and when you tell them something, they will just cut you off with whatever their experiences are. While you are waiting, keep sowing. While you're waiting, keep praying. While you are waiting, keep serving, because when you do that, you position yourself for a breakthrough. You position yourself for a breakthrough.

Speaker 1:

You know, there was a time in our lives when we were going through a hard time financially. I think of 10 long years. We were in debt. We did everything we could. We prayed Every time there was an opportunity to sow, we sowed, we held on to the word of God, but nothing happened immediately. It was a long season, 10 years, 10 years of waiting. And guess what? Suddenly I say it for the glory of God, I know there are people in the room that are waiting for financial breakthroughs. So I want to share from my own story. Suddenly, there was a call for one of our acquaintance. I must say we're not even really close people. I said, rufus, can you and Mayuri come home? And we went that day and he said you know what God has blessed me, but God put you on my heart. And he says whatever I have today, I want to share with you. And guess what? In that fraction of a second, our whole debt was paid off in Jesus name.

Speaker 1:

Church, stop looking to people, look to God. It takes a fraction of a second for God to wipe out your debt. Look at his ability. Like I said, in heaven there is no dearth. Don't look to banks, don't look to loans. Don't look to loans. Don't look to people, because they're all limited. Look to God. Unlimited ability, unlimited ability. God can put you on somebody's heart just like that. We didn't know him. He didn't know we were in debt. He said, pastor, god put you on my heart. I want to encourage you't look to people, look to God. God can change your situation around. God can put you in places that only his favor can put you. You might be saying, mayuri, I don'turi, I don't have this, I don't have that. Hey, you have the favor of God. Don't look at your abilities, don't look at what you have. Look at him. Look at him. Look at him.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, psalm 27, 14 says wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart. Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart, wait for the Lord. You know, when I look at Psalms, so many times King David cried out to God and said God, have you forgotten me? God, how long? I think we all can resonate with that right. We all waiting times. We feel God has forgotten us, waiting times. We think God is so far from us.

Speaker 1:

But today, friends, I want to tell you God has not forgotten you. God has not forgotten you. He has not forgotten his promise. The Bible says even when we are faithless, he still is faithful. He still is faithful, he still is faithful. So fill your heart with gratitude. He still is faithful. He still is faithful. So fill your heart with gratitude. Think of things so many times. You have a history with God right. Think of all the times he showed up in your lives. Think of all the times he protected you. Fill your heart with gratitude, because gratitude, my friends, it unlocks God's blessings in our lives. Amen.

Speaker 1:

With that we come to the third point. I'm skipping a lot of things. Trust in the timing of God. The third point is holding on to God's word. You are waiting, friends. Remind god of his promises. Remind him of not that god has forgotten. God never forgets. He's a covenant keeping god, he said. He watches over his word to perform it in our lives. He hasn't forgotten. Just for you, can you remind God? God, this is a promise. This is a promise.

Speaker 1:

Whatever your situation is, whether it's healing, you can go and tell him. God, you said in your word, lord, in your covenant you said healing is my inheritance and I want to claim healing in the name of Jesus. Lord, I don't want to have thyroid, god. I don't want to have migraine, god. I don't have to have BP or diabetes, god, because you paid the price 2000 years ago. I don't want to agree with that situation. I want to agree with your word, god, that by your strife I am completely healed.

Speaker 1:

Hold on to that word. That word, my friends and Isaiah said his word will never fail. Nothing that has come out of the mouth of God will fail. No word is devoid. His word is not devoid of power, it says. I want to encourage you hold on to the word. The word will not fail. Everything else will fail, my friend, his word will not fail, even when you're waiting on God.

Speaker 1:

Can I encourage you to fill your mind with the word of God in Joshua? It says you know, meditate upon the word day and night. What do we do? We meditate not on the word of God day and night. We meditate on social media day and night. Right, will that help us? No, some of us. Even the little faith that we have, it will take it off because somebody, somewhere, will post some rumor and everybody is like oh, my god, yeah, it's so hard. And blah, blah, blah. We can't do that. You negate everything.

Speaker 1:

Can you hold fast to the confession of your faith while you are waiting? While you are waiting Whatever, you're waiting for A job, you say God, I think that you will make a way. There's no way, god, I'm not looking at my ability, god, my experience, oh God, it's your favor that will put me in places that I cannot go. What did God say? Ask of me anything, I will give it to you. Make bold prayers, my friends. Make bold prayers Because he is in the business of answering our prayers. He is business in the business of answering our prayer.

Speaker 1:

Take time to meditate on his word. Listen to the word of God. Build your faith every day. Whatever your area that you're believing God for. Can you listen to a podcast of God? Build your faith every day. Whatever your area that you're believing God for, can you listen to a podcast that will help you build your faith in that area? Build your faith whether it's, um, whether it's healing or even a salvation of a loved one. Get scriptures, believe. Get scriptures, Believe that Stand on the word of God. Stand on the word of God. Like I said, surround yourselves with people who will speak faith. Surround yourself with people who can speak faith. If you're not able to believe God, come to your pastors, come to your life group leaders, come to the prayer team and say, hey, can you agree with me while I'm waiting for God's promises to manifest in your life?
